FHA streamline refinance is a much easier
process. As long as you have an existing FHA
loan, and you have been making your mortgage
payments on time, you should qualify for the

already be FHA insured.
• The mortgage to be refinanced should be
current (not delinquent).
• The refinance is to result in a lowering of
the borrower's monthly principal and interest
• No cash may be taken out on mortgages
refinanced using the streamline refinance
• 640 Minimum Fico (some exceptions
• It could be a single family home, 1 to 4
units, a condo or modular home.
• The new loan amount cannot exceed the
original loan amount.
In general if you have a mortgage loan with a
high interest rate, streamline refinancing may
be beneficial for you.
If you do NOT have an FHA loan, you can explore
the options of a non-FHA streamline refinance.
